本文描述殺草劑之發展過程，並詳述新發明殺草劑在日本宇都宮大學之測試法。由此測試法而證實具有良好性能之殺草劑有maleic hydrazide(MH) cholin salt, alloxydim, naproanilide, fluazifopbutyl, bialaphos, dymrone, methyl-dymrone和SK-85。這些殺草劑之發展及作用逐一加以說明。本文並討論日本使用殺草劑之問題及發展趨勢及展望。

Development in herbicides was described briefly. Screening methods of the newly developed herbicides and growth regulators adopted in Utsunomiya University. Japan were described in detail. The products past the screening methods aboce mentioned are maleic hydrazide(MH) cholin sait, alloxydim, naproanilide. fluazifopbutyl. bialaphos. dymrone, methyl-dymrone and SK-85. Their dvelopment and action were described. Some problems of herbicide usage in japan and development trend for herbicide in the future were discussed.
