We report the case of a 9-year-old boy with multiple involvement of the seventh thoracic and fi fth lumbar vertebral bodies with Langerhans cell histiocytosis and acute onset of neurologic defi cits. He underwent anterior decompression with corpectomy of T7of the spinal cord and anterior arthrodesis with strut bone graft ribs to prevent progressive kyphotic deformity. Neurologic defi cits and pain disappeared completely during the further course.
