蔬菜作物利用殺草劑除草需求量日漸增加，但蔬菜之種類涉及甚多，（如根、莖、葉、花、果菜類）目前使用於蔬菜田的殺草劑僅17種，蔬菜種類則為11種，而推薦藥劑中部份藥劑市面上不易買到，經常可見者僅施得圃、理有龍、拉草、三福林、及丁基拉草五種。不同種類蔬菜作物，使用殺草劑除草，即有不同效果存在，即有選擇性，國內推廣的殺草劑有限，其對各種蔬菜之雜草防治效果有待加速研究發展，以建立完善的推薦方法。

Weed control by chemicals in vegetable crops is increasing promptly. However, for fewer herbicides are developed for veg etable crops in Taiwan. Currently only 17 herbicides have been registered. Most of them were out of market. Five eommonly used herbicides are Stomp, Linuron Lasso, Treflan and Machete, With more selective herbicides, growers can control weeds mch more efficiently in different kinds of vegetable crops. It neds more research and development in the future.
