Meckel’s diverticulum is the most common congenital gastrointestinal anomaly. 1-3,5 However, only 2% of cases are symp-tomatic.2 We report a case of internal herniation caused by Meckel’s diverticulum in a 14-year-old boy who presented with generalized abdominal pain. Surgical intervention with reduction of internal hernia and resection of the diverticulum allowed a satisfactory management.
